Every member of the Sheriffs Highway Veterinary Hospital team plays a huge part in looking after the health of your pet.
As part of our 'Continual Professional Development Policy' we aim at to keep as up to date as possible. We are constantly keeping up to date with developments in veterinary medicine and equipment that is available. Our vets regularly attend professional development events and we have several who are either studying towards or have already completed veterinary certificates so you can be sure that your pet will receive the highest quality care.
The links below are intended to help you put a face to a name, so you'll know exactly whose capable hands your pet is in when they come to the hospital.
Some staff members are more or less permanently stationed in a particular part of the practice, though there is some movement of staff from branch to branch to cover absences. We believe that continuity of care is important and emergencies permitting, our vets do try to follow cases through as much as possible. If you feel most comfortable with a particular vet then please feel free to request an appointment with them when you give us a call.

Veterinary nurses play a key role in the veterinary practice. They work alongside veterinary surgeons in order to provide a high standard of care for animals. Our veterinary nurses provide skilled 24hr supportive care for sick animals and undertake minor procedures, medical treatments and diagnostic tests under veterinary supervision.
They also play a key role in the education of owners in good standards of animal care.
For any health, nutrition and general advice please contact the practice staff. We have friendly, high calibre support staff, who are always ready and willing to help with any problems.
