PRESCRIPTION NOTICE

Prescriptions are available for pets “under the care” of our veterinary surgeons only. Prescription-only medicines (POM -Vs) can be obtained from Sheriffs Highway vets.

You may request a written prescription for a fee of £33.00 per item, you can then obtain these medicines from another veterinary surgeon or a pharmacy.

The general policy of Sheriffs Highway vets is to reassess your pet requiring repeat prescriptions every 6 months. This may vary depending on an individual’s circumstances.

Each Prescription review consultation will be £58.00

Our veterinary surgeons will be happy to provide all clients with information regarding the price of medication upon request. A prescription may not be appropriate if your pet is an inpatient or if immediate treatment is necessary.
