Gemma Barrett

I have worked in practice since October 2004 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in August 2009.

My main interests within my nursing role are within the theatre environment and caring for our surgical cases.  

Before doing my nursing I qualified as a Beauty Therapist at Gateshead College. 

I have a bunny called Bella who was handed into the practice as a stray a couple of years ago and when no one came forward she decided she wanted to come live with us!  Also, a 10-year-old Dachshund called Daisy who we took on at 2 days old as she was born with a cleft pallet.
