Growing tired of long hot summers, Chris moved to Northumberland from his native Hampshire in 2004, and hasn't looked back since.
He qualified from the University of Cambridge and initially worked in mixed practice before focusing on small animal surgery, with a particular emphasis on orthopaedics. He was awarded the BSAVA certificate in small animal surgery with Distinction in 2016.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys running - he is a regular great north run participant , and skiing. He is also a keen musician playing the piano, clarinet and saxophone in a local band.
He lives on a farm in Northumberland with his wife, 2 rescue dogs, 5 cats, 2 horses and 2 young sons.
